UWO MME PhD (on-going); UBC MTRL Engineering ('20).

I'm interested in two areas of research. (1) Energy storage; (2) Aeronautics and space. Currently, I'm trying to find ways to apply additive manufacturing and advanced material synthesis techniques to create next-gen lithium batteries.

Researcher & Designer

I'm a researcher at heart: innately curious mixed with a dash of stubborness. That being said, I love the process of creative design. In my spare time I'll be creating abstract renderings or thinking of ridiculous experiments to try.

Dreamer

Next 4 years: Complete PhD and prove through application a process to fabricate solid-state lithium metal batteries entirely through 3D-printing.

10 year goal: bring 3D-printed batteries to market.

20 year goal: lend expertise to help solve the puzzle of extraterrestrial habitation.

Some outlooks on life.

Advocate of maintaining physical robustness. Current goal: preparing for an ironman triathlon.

Current favourite quote: "fortune favors the prepared." (Pasteur)
